I love this series! It is fun, engaging, and very kid-friendly! The only slightly iffy thing that parent might want brought to their attention is that Life of Fred:Dogs contains references to euthanasia. I myself, a 10-year old, understand that the dogs are probably happier wherever they are than they would be if kept alive, however if you have younger children, you might not want to introduce them to this concept at the moment. If you feel that your child is ready to accept this topic, feel free to buy these books! You also might want to note that Apples is dead easy. If you feel that your child knows all numbers that add up to 7, I might suggest that you move right along to Life of Fred:Butterflies. I hope to have helped!
