If you grouse about the quality of these chips, you probably don't have enough money to be playing poker anyway.
After reading a ton of reviews here I figured that, at the price ($35), odds were good that I was going to get a box of 500 serviceable betting disks. I was, in fact, correct. These are not perfect, but they're all uniformly round, of uniform thickness, and have a nice heft to them. They will serve your wagering needs more than satisfactorily.
If you're reading the reviews and questioning whether you should buy these or not, ask yourself "when a quality set of 500 poker chips can easily cost upward of $100, how much credence should i really give to someone's review criticizing minor and cosmetic issues with this set of chips?" The answer is "not much."
Reminds me of the people at the $3 blackjack table complaining about how others at the table are playing. If you're that great a player, you should be at a higher-stakes table. If you're a poker superstar, what are you doing buying this cheapo set of chips? If you're not a poker superstar, these are the chips for you.
For all us regular humans, this is going to be a fine set of chips.
