This has been perfect for our needs. We've been using it for our daughter every night in place of a crib since she was about 3 months old and she's now 6 months. The little pad it comes with seems fine for playing on and maybe for taking naps, but it seemed a little too hard for her to sleep on 12 hours a night, every night. We bought this mattress Dream On Me 3" Playard Mattress, White and it fit perfectly in the bottom with no gaps or puckering. By the time we got it, she was too heavy for the bassinet feature, so I don't have any experience using that or the hanging toys, however the base portion has worked great. It's quite sturdy but also super easy to drag into the living room if we want to use it as a play area. We haven't taken it with us anywhere so we don't have a lot of experience with breaking it down and setting it back up repeatedly, but it wasn't difficult to set up initially and only took about 5 minutes. The pattern is cute and bright and the materials all seem durable.
