I'll keep this review to the key points I think most folks are interested in: * Assembly could have been easier, but it's a one-time task and didn't take very long * There are 12 speeds for fine air-flow adjustment and they are more useful than expected * At the highest setting the fan noise is certainly audible, but much quieter than usual considering the high airflow. * The type of noise is worth noting, as some can be annoying. It's actually quite nice as you mostly hear the wind. Perfectly acceptable for bedroom use. * Oscillation function is electric, it's a bit too fast, and wide, but gets the job done. * It's a tad pricey but appears to be good quality, sturdy build, etc. * Our larger 18" Lasko puts out more air, but it's also considerably louder * Batteries not included for remote, but it is IR, controls everything, and works well. Overall it's a solid 16" pedestal fan with digital controls, LED panel, remote, very fine speed adjustment, quiet, and good airflow. You'll spend more than the cheap fan at your local big-box retailer, but you do get what you pay for.
