Wierd and awkward at first but stick with it...best thing ever
So I was not a huge fan day one or even day 2, but I cannot imagine going back to tampons/pads/liners ever again. So happy with this product.
Some background on me may help you decide to try. I'm 28, I've always had problems with leaking ever since I started having a period, I was an avid tampon +liner user until I tried this product. I hated tampons until I was about 18 then I got more comfortable with using them and never looked back.
I haven't had a single leak since using this product. And I don't have to run to the bathroom every hr or so to check to see if I've leaked. No more liners to double safeguard myself. I didn't like it the first few days because 1. It was awkward to put in and 2. Awkward to take out. But after some practice and looking for tips on here I got the hang of it. I don't feel it when it's in, just like a tampon. Tips to get it in correctly... 1. Relax, 2. Squat or leg up is best i think, 3. To open once inserted I find it helps to try and turn it/spin it and use my finger to push on the side that has opened and that helps push the unopened side out into and open position, 4. Push it up as far as you can and then pull down until it's in place-until slight resistance like it's stuck. Tips to remove: 1.relax, 2. Try to bear down like your trying to push it out with those muscles (similar to your pooping muscles) this will make it easier to find and grab,3. Use the tail more as a locator and not a puller, you want to pinch the bottom of the cup for best grip and to release the suction it has, 4.squat or leg up helps 5. If you squat over the toilet try to pull it out and down so that the side facing your tailbone tips and pours out into the toilet and away from your clothes.
I haven't tried other brands but this material seems soft and nice, good quality, and just what I need.
