VERY easy to use. Would look great in any kitchen. Regarding ratio coffee to water: I researched it and as an experiment ended up filling filter to top with loosely store bought grounds and filling carafe with water. Threw it in fridge overnight and tried it. I like my caffeine, but like a more sweet taste so I diluted it by adding cream. I filled small cup 2/3rds with coffee concentrate from carafe with 1/3rd cream. You can use milk, water or whatever you want and adjust accordingly. Some might even enjoy concentate straight up. So...without worrying about mls, grams coffee etc...fill to top with grounds, fill carafe with water and throw in fridge. Dilute to your preferences. SO EASY, SO DELICIOUS and SO STYLISH
