I bought at the same time 3 similar headphones: 1. iLuv iEP322BLK City Lights In-Ear Earphones (US$7 at this time) 2. Panasonic RPHJE120K In-Ear Headphone (US$ 6 at this time) 3. GOgroove audiOHM Ergonomic Metallic Silver Earbuds (US$ 13) Here is how I comparatively rate them on sound quality: iLuv: grade 10 GOgroove: grade 9.8 Panasonic : grade 7 And, since I also had them here to compare, the in-ear phones that came with mine Samsung Galaxy SIII phone would get a grade 8 and a very cheap one, bought at the streets, would get a grade 1. Considering the apparent resistance of the cord and of the plug (something very important to me, since I use them at bed) plus the ear fitting and the packaging, I would give them iLuv: 10 GOgroove: 10 Panasonic: 8 So, my final benefit per cost rating for them, using the formula (Sound quality *3 + Appearance) / Cost, would be: iLuv: (10*3+10)/7=5.7 GOgroove: (9.8*3+10)/13=3.0 Panasonic – (7*3+8)/6=4.8 So iLuv is the best deal. A very good deal!
