Such a small thing to cause such a large headache!
I would have given this a 5 star rating except for an issue I had the second time I used the scope. I set the scope up in the backyard so I could continue to learn all the features. I plugged in the control and turned it on and there was a boot load error. I jumped on the web and found that I needed a software update for the controller. To update the software you have to plug the scope into a PC and download the software update. The Celestron cable you need to update the software DOES NOT come with the scope. You would think that after spending $1600.00 Celestron would include the $10 cable. Not the case! You have to order the cable separately. And, the cable has a 9 pin RS-232 end. PCs don't come with 9 pin serial ports anymore. Everyone has gone to USB connectors. So, you also have to get a Rs-232 to USB adapter cable. Come on Celestron, you are one of the premier suppliers of amateur astronomy equipment. Spend the effort to include this inexpensive, but necessary cable with the original order. And, upgrade it to a USB cable. Everything else about the telescope is first class.
