Good price, good performance (NOTHING is ever perfect)
I purchased this product in May 2016. As of September 2020 I have never had any issues with it. After reading a number of the negative reviews I felt I needed to post a general response. Features: I knew when I purchased the Oster I was buying a Ford, not a Ferrari! This oven costs less than $100, ovens like the Breville and Cuisinart cost $200+. If you want/need all the bells and whistles be willing to pay for them! This highly rated oven has excellent capacity, is reliable, and should you get a lemon does not cost an arm and a leg to replace. I read a review on the Breville regarding a convection fan that stopped working and Breville wanted $200+ to repair! You could buy 2 new Osters for that. Some complain about the results on toast. Geez, the oven has a light and 3 toast settings (I find 2works just fine), and if the toast is getting too dark take it out! One stated the light would be better placed in front instead of in back (keep a mini flashlight handy), one that 9x13 pans with handles don’t fit (buy a pan without handles, or as one handywoman suggested bend them up!), and there were other minor complaints but none that simple ingenuity couldn’t resolve. I could go on but you get the idea, 4.5Goo years and this Ford (Chevy?) is still chugging along and if and when it breaks down I will recycle it and buy a new one.
