The price is right and it works. It's a tortilla press not hay baler, it is made to gently press tortillas to a uniform thickness, not a compactor to squish things to smithereens. A walnut size ball of masa becomes a generous sized tortilla with a gentle press of the lever. If you break this thing like some people have said you need some anger management training. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone in serious need of a really good, nicely priced, tortilla press. Happy pressing !
