This review is for the Ambient Weather WS-2902. I bought this when I was looking for a newer weather station to replace an older wore out weather monitor. As others have mentioned in reviews here I had trouble connecting the Android version Ambient tool app. My phone is a version 7.1.2 and could not connect. I tried my wife's phone which is android version 6.0... something and connected using the ambient tool in seconds. Thanks for that reviewer comment. after connection it connected to ambientweather.com and my wunderground.com accounts no problem. I had calibration issues in the beginning but the included instructions walk you right though it. Yes you need to read the big directions included. I reached out to there support site and as someone mentioned I received a very quick reply at 3am in the morning. Again as someone mentioned in a previous review it was from Ed the CEO or President from Ambient Weather. Caught me off guard also and a very good accurate detailed to the point reply. That alone deserves my 5 star rating. The other reason is because I took a chance on this lower cost weather station and found out it uses more accurate sensors than the WS-1002 I was considering getting but to my benefit they where sold out on that weather station. Yes after a 5-6 day calibration to be very exact... sorry I like to be dead on when I send to wunderground.com. My WS-2902 was actually pretty close out of the box. One suggestion for those thinking about getting this model is to set it up indoors in a stable environment before registering to send data to your accounts for a few hours before mounting outdoors if you require calibration... read the directions. Again I am pleased with this weather station because of the lower price, better quality sensors, being told that better features such as a web based interface or API is in the works for future updates and most important the outstanding support. I will be working on a future youtube video to show how easy the setup is and the very good calibration mode if needed. I am on wunderground.com as (KOKNICOM2) if anyone wants to check out the WS-2902 in use and how accurate it is compared to my surrounding area with others using Davis, RainWise and Weatherhawk which are priced much higher. I have not been paid or received this unit at a discount or free for this review. This is an honest review and am pleased so far and will update this in the future as this is only a 6 day in use review.
