I have owned a few espresso machines in the $150 range, and I can say emphatically they make terrible espresso. I recently came on here, thinking I might bite the bullet and get a really nice one. I saw this and was intrigued. Once I read the reviews I had to give it a try. It came next day delivery and I tried it immediately. I ground my beans very fine, and packed them tightly. Got my water boiling hot, and filled the reservoir. I never even looked at the directions, figured I would give it a go. This thing was simple, the pumping was effortless. The espresso was rich and I made two drinks to test, hot and cold. One was a shot poured over ice with some whole milk, it tasted like it came from a legit cafe. Second was hot, and I poured in some foamed milk, again it was exceptional. I read reviews talking about it being hard to clean or messy. If you have a sink, I believe everyone does, than it is as easy as rinsing the filter cup and starting over. This thing is a game changer.
