My true story and experience this memorial weekend
Ok, well first of all Im 36 years old and I have NO gallbladder and have had pancreatitis so I have to be careful with my digestive system. Pancreatic enzymes join with bile USUALLY stored in the gallbladder to help digest food. I'm going to be 100 percent honest. I was not ready to try this product so I threw it off to the side when it arrived on Friday. (I know some people are concerned about discounted reviews this is one but please read my HONEST opinion and current situation) Ok so I was getting ready to watch a movie Friday night and BOOM out of the blue I felt my belly hurting hmmmm gas? Digestive issues? I got nauseous and felt extremely uncomfortable and had pain in my abdomen-lower back and it was pretty extreme pain OH NO not this again! It always stresses me out if I get abdominal pain because 5 years ago I was hospitalized over a month for severe acute pancreatitis. For those of you who don't know what pancreatitis is it is INFLAMMATION of pancreas. Normally digestive enzymes secreted by the pancreas do not become active until they reach the small intestine but when the pancreas is inflamed, the enzymes inside it attack and damage the tissues that produce them. Five years ago my pancreatitis was so severe that at one point I was in ICU on a ventilator and had to have fluid drained from my lungs. I was somewhat of a miracle because as quickly as I got sick I started to get better and my Drs were amazed at the turnaround but said I had to change my eating habits and lifestyle choices no alcohol, better diet and I have been pretty healthy ever since besides a few bouts of what seems to be acute pancreatitis probably from over doing it on certain fatty foods that I should stay away from😰 It does not help that I also don't have a gallbladder so I do have occasional digestive issues, anyways the few times this pain has happened I usually I fight through it (go to Dr) and only drink liquids until pain is better but im always ready to go to ER if I can't take it. (If you ever have abdominal pain or pancreatitis you should go straight to ER it can be life threatening.) Well my pain hit me out of the blue and I lied down with waves of intense aches and a bit of a fever, I made it through Friday night and was not in the clear in on Saturday morning so I double checked my symptoms (I have also had kidney stones) talked with my husband said I'm going to go shower and think about going to ER and after shower I felt a little better and was reading more about pancreatitis online and saw that some people with chronic pancreatitis take a pancreatic enzyme in pill form that helps digest food and I thought.... Hey what was that digestive pill I got of Amazon by Dr Matthews? I know it said it helped with digestive issues gas, bloating but will it irritate my problem... I went and grabbed the bottle and it says Dr Matthews #1 digestive enzymes ..... I know it's not one specifically for pancreas but it is a digestive enzyme (again if you have severe pain go to the doctor and taking meds could make it worse this is just my story) so I thought it is a enzyme not a cleanse SO I'm going to give it a try I'm already ready to go to ER but let's see if this helps or makes it worse. I took the digestive enzyme with soup and a smoothie and I started to feel better, a lot better! Wow! no ER yet and I have to be honest I wondered is it a strange coincidence or did that help. Well I slept soundly through the night and today is Sunday and I'm still feeling better so I decided to get on Amazon to tell my story ( Friday I could not even stand let alone type) I truly believe that the digestive enzyme did NOT cure but has started to help turn around a situation that could turn out a lot worse. Im continuing to take it and I'm not in the clear yet and I know that it is not marketed for pancreas issues but it is marketed towards digestive issues and they are connected so I'll call my Doctor on Tuesday because you should never self diagnos but I'm going to continue to take Dr Matthews #1 digestive enzyme to help my digestive system with NO gallbladder and I wish I would have started sooner. I give this product 5 stars and wanted to make sure I gave credit where credit was due and if my opinnion changes with continued use I will update my review. Have a good memorial weekend my friends.🌻 Please click button below if this was helpful to you in any way. Update 8-20-17- I have enjoyed the people who reached out and shared their personal story with me after reading mine. You are all so inspirational....peace love and light❤️
