I bought this mat for my mother-in-law who shows up at my house at the most inconvenient times and I've decided she is best contained in the back yard behind a security fence. I have no idea how comfortable this is, but my sex life has improved ten fold using this containment strategy and her disposition never changes anyways. In reality, this is the best, most comfortable mat you will get at any price and you will never regret a wonderful night's sleep. I about 7 sleeping pads and lead back country adventures and jeeping trips. This baby has never met it's match. slow to blow up perhaps? who cares! You can sleep on vesicular basalt or highly irregular weathered granite and think you are in the Hilton. Buy it, they are getting harder to find.
