I have naturally curly hair that seems virtually unmanageable at times! At the advice of my sister I started looking into the Curly Girl Method for my hair and that lead me to needing a co-wash. Now, products for the "CGM" are usually VERY expensive (or can be) and this was not so I bought it to give it a try. I needed a good cleansing conditioner that wasn't going to be harmful to my hair but was also going to get the job done! Pros: This is easy to use. The texture of the product is almost a gelatin/custard like mixture that is easily applied to wet hair. It has a decent smell to it, coconut like but nothing that is strong or overpowering. This product is not harmful to hair - and it's "CGM" approved for a great price. I purchased this as an "add on" item so the price was under $7 I believe. This did not leave my hair feeling dirty or grimmey, my hair feels clean after using. Cons: I am not a fan of the packaging - since this is (I would assume) primarily used in the shower, I don't like that it's a jar, I think a squeeze bottle, or pump would be more shower friendly (I have not looked online to see if this product is available in a squeeze bottle or pump).
