These may not be as glamorous as Christian Louboutin shoes but I am absolutely positive they are more comfortable. I'm not one to wear a "high" heeled shoe - I'm a simple hiking boot and water sandal kind of gal. But decided to buy these to go with my "fancier" non-jeans pants. These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. The heel compresses somewhat while walking which feels like I'm walking on a billowy, bouncy cloud. And the open weave fabric breathes so no stinky, sweaty feet. The soles are textured enough so there is no slipping or sliding on any surface plus they are quiet. Noisy shoes are very annoying to me. Since the tops are fabric I don't expect them to last decades like my hiking boots and water sandals but they appear to be well made so I'm pretty sure I'll get a couple of years out of them. I bought the black on black pair and am now deciding on the color of a second pair.
