Looks and feels really nice on my black iPhone XR. It does add some bulk but that is to be expected. On the plus side I can now handle my phone with confidence. I was a little apprehensive about getting this case because of some of the negative reviews. However so far I am pleased with my purchase. Some of the negative things people wrote were: 1. Sharp edges make it uncomfortable to swipe up from the bottom: - So far this has been a non-issue for me. Maybe if you have eczema or some other skin condition on your thumb it could cause some discomfort however for the vast majority of people it should be just fine. On a side note - you don't need to swipe up from the very bottom of the screen. You can swipe up just above the screen protector and it works just fine. 2. Packaging / plastic is extremely difficult to remove. - My wife unpackaged this without any issues and she recently got her nails done. Had she not had her long finger nails she said it would have been even easier. 3. Fingerprint magnet - The sides of the case, which is what everyone is going to see most of the time, do not show any fingerprints at all. The back of the case does collect fingerprints which are visible if light is reflecting off the back at certain angles. If you are OCD about fingerprints you may want to consider a different case. Note: I have the matte black version of this case and a black iPhone XR. Other color combinations might show fingerprints more prominently. 4. Extra slots/holes in the bottom of the case. - I did notice some curved slots on the back of the case at the bottom, however I'm not sure why this would be a problem. I guess dust or debris could build up in there but so far it has not been an issue.
