The sustain pedal does not work. It does the opposite of what it supposed to do. When you don't press it the sound is sustained, but then when you press it the sound got cut off. Also, cannot register the product. Yamaha doesn't seem to have an option of P-71. UPDATE ON SUSTAIN PEDAL. I found that a number of people have this same problem. The thing is you need to plug in the sustain pedal in BEFORE turning the piano keyboard on. If you plug it in when the piano is already on, it will do the reverse of what it supposed to do. Hope this help some people out.
