I'm one of those semi-crazy organizers you've heard about. Even my sock drawers are tidy, neat and color coded. So, when I saw a chance to get rid of our messy shelves filled with DVDs I knew I had to have this CD/DVD wallet. There was no way to get all of our growing collection of DVDs in decent order on a book shelf and they were always in disarray. But, I was concerned about how to keep the cover info with the DVDs in the little pockets of this wallet. I like seeing the cover photo and keeping the info on the back with each DVD. Well... with a little ingenuity I found a way. I trimmed (with a paper cutter) the paper covers of each DVD and slipped them into the pocket next to the disc. Technically the disc and cover would both fit into the same pocket and I could get more DVDs into the wallet, but I prefer it this way. Personal preference. The way I do it means I only get 64 DVDs into the wallet but I'm okay with that. You can still put the DVD and trimmed cover into the same pocket and get 128 in the wallet. I already bought 5 of these wallets because this allows me to categorize by genre and because the price is so reasonable. Plus, these wallets don't take up much room on our bookshelf. Five wallets take up a fraction of the space that all the DVDs in plastic jackets did. If I could make one improvement on this wallet it would be to have a small clear plastic slot on the spine so I could write what was in that particular wallet. Maybe that's just my uber-organizing powers kicking in again, but I think that would be helpful to others. I included a photo so you can see how I put the discs and cover photos with info in the pockets. (Please don't judge my DVDs. I just picked a random page in the wallet to photograph. LOL)
