Good for a beginner
I bought the Casio SA-46 -Key Portable Keyboard for myself for my birthday after seeing Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots use it in one of their videos. I always wanted to learn to play but didn't want to commit to a full size keyboard until I knew the basics. I bought it along with the Casio ADE95100LU Power Supply and they work perfectly together. It's a little bigger than my laptop length wise(as you'll see in the picture), but it fits nicely on my desk so I can play it whenever I feel like.
Pros: Keyboard is just right for beginner, especially if you're buying this for a child. It's user friendly and you can easily mess around with the tones and tempo. The volume is VERY good. It's very light weight. You are able to switch from batteries(4AA) or use a power cord. Something that I like very much, is that it shuts off after about 5 minutes of inactivity, so if I get distracted by something, I don't have to worry about it wasting power, however you shouldn't let that be an excuse to not turn the switch off.
Cons: I feel like after learning a few songs, I'm starting to realize 32 keys is just a bit too restrictive. I would highly recommend you go up to the 44 keys if you have the option to, but there are still many songs you can play. I haven't dropped it yet, but it does feel like its not sturdy enough to handle a bad fall. The keys are very sensitive, almost TOO sensitive. Other than that not many cons I can find about this keyboard.
So I very much do like this product, especially for young beginners, but if you feel like you or whoever you're buying this for will stick to practicing and making serious use out of it I would recommend at least the 44 keys.
(Side note about the picture, I put a dot of nail polish on one of the keys so I could find the middle of the keyboard faster without looking so disregard that dot in the picture)
