I have two monitors for my work desktop but only recently decided to get this portable monitor for my personal laptop. (I have a personal desktop as well, but no need for a second monitor.) This monitor routinely gets good reviews on Cnet and similar websites, and for the money it can't be beat. Took only a few minutes to install. The display can be configured but I didn't need to do much to make it look like my regular 15.6" HP laptop. One negative: the cover that comes with it provides good traveling protection. However, for the life of me neither my wife nor I were able to make it work as a stable monitor stand. I purchased an Amazon Basics monitor/tablet stand and it works quite well. Much more adjustable, stable, and reliable. Lepow offers one in a small package insert, but you have to email them to get instructions on ordering and frankly it wasn't worth the trouble. I was also less than impressed with LePow's warranty registration. After scanning a QR code you enter the Amazon order number, your name and email. So far, so good. But then you must enter a password. I used the Lepow chat service to ask why I needed a password. The answer: "secure." That's it. Not helpful or reassuring. Neither was there any way to opt out of emails or guarantees of privacy. I gave them a rude, one-word reply and logged off. If you've never worked with two screens, you really should try it. I write many reports and it's great to have them side-by-side at 100% resolution on an otherwise small screen.
