I needed to re-size a coaxial cable in my home, so started researching the process. I ended up ordering this kit and received it yesterday, and I have ZERO experience in changing out the connector on a coaxial cable. I see the orange colored X thing on the coax stripper in the kit with numbers and letters, and no idea how to change those. I also see the Blade inside there and no idea how to move the blade to a different setting! The BAD news is that this kit includes NO manual or instructions at all! The good news is that I found a video on YouTube that explains how to properly use the coax stripper that comes with the kit, as well as everything else. So, this YouTube video REALLY gave me ALL the details I needed for my RG-6 coaxial cable. After watching the video, I was very easily able to get the cable cut down in size, and a new connector added to the end! It was pretty awesome and easy. I have uploaded it here and hope this helps others along the way. Good Luck! The kit works great, and was already pre-set for the RG-6 coaxial cable setting, by default. So, for me, it worked very well and was so very easy to use. Not sure why the manufacturer would not include a manual, but it looks like this is a Chinese version of a more popular, and much more expensive model. This kit was left than half the price, and the quality is way above what junk you typically get from cheap items made in China. So I highly recommend this kit, and other than a missing manual, it is a great buy.
