Heres the quick down and dirty. I purchased from Haverty's the top line massage chair. It cost $2500 on sale plus delivery and warranty separately. When they delivered the chair they brought it in, put a few things together and I was like...wow I paid a lot for delivery but oh well. The chair itself was nice but I always felt like it was lacking. About 9 months later, now, I still didn't feel happy with the purchase. So I saw this chair for $799 with free delivery. It came from a company and yes they just drop it off on your stoop in a huge box. And you have to lug it into your house...we had to cut it out of the box and brought the pieces inside. I'm very healthy and so is my wife and this chair weighs about 250lbs. But for the most part it has wheels and you can wheel it around once you get it inside. I don't see carrying it up steps though. The thing is a pure beast of dead weight. I see people complaining and I dunno shipping was FREE....what do you expect? Go to a furniture store if you want it put in a room and put together, it will cost you three times this amount so stop griping. I've been there, done that and got the t-shirt. As for putting the chair together its not rocket science but the manual sucks. You'll figure it out though on your own. Just don't be afraid when putting the leg piece on...its really easier than your brain thinks it is when you look at it. Don't overthink it. Once in the chair? I can only give it 5 stars out of 5 stars because its every bit of what my other premium chair was lacking. It massages your legs, your feet, your forearms, your neck, your back, and it works your butt over like a Greek! The thing is amazing. Its the best massage in a chair I've EVER had and I've sat on everyone of these things ever seen in a mall or Sharper Image. If you want deep heat it doesn't have that but neither does my premium one that is supposed to blow hot air. It was enough to make every member of my family happy even the little ones who couldn't get the full effect because they are too short. So to all of the naysayers complaining about the delivery and having to put it together....what do you expect for free? The company is Factory Direct Warehouse, LLC out of Georgia and I got it in less than a week. They use a company called R&L Carriers which really does a great job - they just aren't going to bring the thing into your house and set it up for you is all. I'm nothing but impressed. On their website the chair is like $1000. If you go on eBay you can get it from their store for $799 with free shipping so shop around. But again, its low frills in that it doesn't have a zillion buttons on the remote...it still has way too many options for me to be honest...but it gives a great great massage. The only thing is it is heavy and you are going to need space for it because it has something called Zero Gravity - which should be called - Heaven on Earth and it literally lays you down in almost a sleeping position. And thats fine because this is the first chair....that put me to sleep. Don't look anywhere else...this thing is the bomb and I'm not easily impressed....now if anyone is in the market for a $2500 top of the line chair, let me know....because that thing isn't going to get ANY use now that I have this!
