Wowee zowee is this rug elegant, soft, and sumptuous. For a rug at this price point, it sure does look like a higher quality piece and boy does it feel like one too. As other reviewers have said, this rug is soft to the touch and feels wonderful to walk on with bare feet. The colors are true to the photographs. It works perfectly with our decor--it sits under a wood dining room table with purple-colored fabric chairs. The chairs stand out in the space yet everything in the dining area coordinates well with the rug. I've uploaded a photo in case it's helpful for you as you consider how the rug might coordinate with your own decor. Oh, and we did buy a rug pad along with this but found that we did not need one as the rug stays in place on its own just fine. That said, it is sitting under a dining room table and a few large, potted plants, so it's possible that it's being held in place by the items atop it. It's a lovely piece for a reasonable price.
