I'm not a photographer. I purchased this ESDDI Softbox Lighting Kit for making review videos and I'm trying to work up the nerve to post beauty videos on YT. I don't have one of those $600 cameras (yet) so I want to make sure I have good lighting since I'm recording on my smartphone. I was looking at different brands and the cost of a lighting kit and I came across this one. It wasn't $300 and the reviews were pretty good. Everything came securely packaged. I received everything in the product description and nothing was damaged. I was so relieved, because I new there was light bulbs and delicate rods in the softboxes. The kit comes with everything except instructions and even though this was pretty simple and easy to put together. If you have never touched a tripod, ring light, or softbox instructions would be nice. I read a some of the reviews on this kit and a few people mentioned that it wasn't a more heavy duty type of photography gear like what professionals use, but that's perfectly understandable to me. I mean it is a full kit and it's well under $100. I think this perfect for someone like me, a new photographer or as backup gear for a pro. The tripods are pretty light weight though and could easily tip over. I'm going to invest in a couple of sand bags just to make sure they stay grounded, but I'm really happy that I got it. I took a picture of a couple stuffed animals sitting in a chair, just to see what kind of a difference the softbox lighting would make. WOW! It was an amazing difference. The picture was so clear and bright. I know my review photos and videos will look 100 times better now. Once I learn more about how to position the lighting better. I'll be able to take some great pictures of my grandchildren to send to family and save money on going to portrait studios. I'm excited and very, very happy with my kit. Adjustable Softbox heads Tripod reaches up to 80 inches Excellent Starter Kit Greatly Improves Lighting for Photos and Videos Cons: Stability Issue - Tripods are a little too light weight.
