One of the main reasons I bought this humidifer was to see if it would help with all this mucosa in my chest. I'd never considered a humidifier before. I don't know why. I used the Ultrasonic Humidifier for a week before this review. There was very little noise, which is good because I have a baby. I didn't find any moisture build up on my surfaces too much to manage. Just make sure to keep it a foot or two away from paint or wall paper. I put a towel down to protect my floors. This is going to be a thing with any humidifier. My chest feels less congested and I can expell mucous a lot easier than the week before. I'd recommend.
