This is a pretty simple oil diffuser that does a good job even in large areas. It is a small ultrasonic humidifier that is made to put the essential oil scent into the air in a thin stream of water vapor. While there is some moisture coming out of the unit, it will not humidify your room, there is simply not enough output for it to make any difference in your room's humidity. To use the unit you first have to open it up, fill it with water so that the water does not cover the large square plastic piece in the center than add a few drops of your essential oil. Once you put the top pieces back on and turn it on the oil will last for about 4 to 8 hours depends on how far you filled the water and which of the two modes you ran the unit in. The two modes are pretty straight-forward. The first runs the unit all the time and the second runs the unit for 3 minutes then off for 1 minute in an endless cycle. Obviously the more you run the unit the more scent permeates the air. There are LED lights in the top of the unit that have different modes as well from rotating in a random pattern to having the lights off entirely while still running the diffuser. There are two different buttons on the device, one for the mode of the diffuser and the other for the mode of the lights. They are easy to understand and use. When the device runs out of water it will automatically turn itself off. As others have stated it can be a challenge to move a full unit without spilling, but that shouldn't be an issue for anyone leaving the diffuser in a single location. If you need it to be mobile where you can move it at any time simply use less water and you won't have to worry about balancing the unit perfectly to avoid spilling any of the water and oil inside. Overall this is a very nice diffuser that has no problem filling even large rooms with the scent of your choice. Recommended. Sample provided for review.
