A choice of two whisks allows for either a little or a lot of froth, and it produces it quickly either hot or cold. If you choose to heat the milk, it heats it gently. The appliance is easy to clean with a non-stick interior and included brush. A word about the defective item: The return of the defectinve item to Amazon was pleasantly painless and I received a full refund, but what really impressed me was the response from Lafraise. I was immediately contacted by their customer service department and offered a replacement at no charge. I have been in customer service for 42 years, and this is how you win customers. Lafraise didn't have to contact me or offer a replacement, but this is clearly a company that understands the importance of customer satisfaction. I am definitely satisfied.
