Three clips ARE better than two! We recently bought new split King adjustable bed and have been fighting the sheets ever since, waking up each morning in a tangle of sheets, the corners having been pulled off during the night. I had previously used the sheet clips that were clipped to each side of the sheet corners and they worked ok. This set has three clips, one goes on the actual corner and the other two clip to the sides of of the corners, creating a "y". All three clips are attached to adjustable elastic (like a bra strap). They are somewhat difficult to install (I have arthritis in fingers) as you have to balance the mattress corner up while you snugly attach the clips. You will also have a test run to get the elastic adjusted the first time. I enlisted my hubby for help, but it should be much easier when I change sheets now that they are adjusted. On the super plus side, the clips have added rubbery teeth that grip like an alligator (no bare metal teeth to slip or tear your sheets). I am happy with the end results, my sheets don't move! Negatives: 1) the clips are tight and are nail breakers to open. 2) the elastic is nice and wide, unlike other sets I've used with skinny elastic, but the elastic is not of the same quality you would see in garments so I am uncertain of the durability. Comment: after paying "crazy money" for sheets you hate to pay another $14 to keep them on your bed but it is well worth the price to rid yourself of the aggravation. I plan to buy another set for back up!
