I think these are decent earplugs. I use them primarily for events with loud music and riding my motorcycle. I find regular sized earplugs of this variety to be incredibly painful to have in for more than a few minutes. These are okay. Not perfect. I'll eventually transition to custom fit because these do inflate awkwardly sometimes and give high pressure on certain areas of my inner ear sometimes. Btw, I'm a guy. I have small ear canals like plenty of "manly" men do. Don't know why these have to be aimed at "women."
