My 9 year old is crazy over story mode! She's been a minecraft fanatic for a couple years since she first discovered it. I bought the first episode thinking she might find it boring and that I wouldn't be buying the rest. Well, the first episode ended and she raved about how cool it was. She was so excited to know there were 4 more, so I gave in and bought them all. The funny thing is my 6 year old son is content at just watching the story and letting my daughter play. Normally they fight over whose turn it is. I really like that they are hearing and seeing a story and making choices about what happens. It's more than just a video game. I hurt my wrist and couldn't do much this passed weekend so it was the perfect thing to keep them occupied. It was a win win for me for sure. Are there more of these? I gotta look in to this. For now I'm going to delete it and re-install on my amazon TV and let them play it all over again (not sure how else to do it).
