This skirt is super sexy!! I have wide hips and was a little worried about the shape of this skirt, but It looks really great and is comfortable! I noticed that the other review for this item states that it makes a sound, and it does, but I wouldn't say its a bad sound. It just rustles a little as you walk. (WAY better than that awful noise that pleather usually makes!) The finish has a sheen to it, but is still 'matte', which I found to be really complimenting. It didn't show every bump and line like most similar materials would, plus it looks classier than any other pleather item I've seen. I'd feel very confident to wear this at work, and love that it manages to look conservative AND sexy at the same time. The skirt is also easy to move in. I don't usually wear pencil skirts because I've found them restricting, but this one manages to fit tightly (while still stretching if needed.) I would recommend planning to wear it with 'no line' underwear, just because it helps it to have a smoother appearance. Aside from looks, it's also really well-made. The stitching is neat and tight, and the hem is sturdy. The skirt is not stretchy, but does stretch enough to allow movement, without any damage or cracking to the faux leather finish of the skirt. I also really love the waist band design, because it allows for wearing it in the traditional 'high waist' style, but you can also fold it down turning it in to a different style. (Almost like a 'long' version of a mini skirt.) Because of the waist band design, you can easily wear it with your shirt tucked in, or fold the band down and wear it with a crop-top or any shirt laying over the band. Overall, I was hesitant about the skirt due to the previous review, but I have been really impressed with the versatility, look, and quality of this piece. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a classic and conservative piece with a sexy twist! I was given the opportunity to purchase this item for a deep discount in exchange for my honest review. I did NOT think that I was going to like this skirt, which goes to show how good it really is. After putting it on, I couldn't believe how much I loved it, and that is my 100% honest opinion, that has not been influenced in ANY way.
