I had to buy this because I put my friends smoke alarm in his toaster oven to get it to stop beeping when i was drunk and burnt a frozen pizza, and it melted when his roommate made a hot pocket the next morning. So, smoke detection: 5/5, durability in a toaster oven: 1/5.
