I purchased this for my Mom, it's her first ever cordless phone and she is not tech savvy. She loves the phone, especially the block caller button. She LOVES that feature. Setup was fairly easy for her and I was able to talk her through how to use other special features over the phone (we live in separate states). The caller ID display and buttons are easy for her to see and she hasn't had any complaints with the ringer volume. I can hear her clearly when we talk, she says I'm clear on her end too. When she puts me on speaker to say hi to her neighbor, I can't even tell that I'm really on it - super clear. It's been a month and so far no issues with it. She loves her new cordless freedom. Now if I can only talk her into getting a Smartphone....
