I want to say I really love these! I own 2 pairs of Thinx. (I own sport and hiphugger styles.) Clearly, two pairs aren't enough for a whole menstrual cycle. I knew I needed more, but I couldn't justify the cost. I wanted an alternative and this seemed like a decent shot. These are great. I would say they hold almost as much as my hiphugger Thinx. (Thinx advertises these hold about 1 1/2 tampons worth.) These are also great for sleeping. I still use a tampon, but now I don't need to worry about leaking like I would with a pad. (Especially at night!) For washing, I let these soak in cold water for 5 minutes, wash on cold cycle and hang dry. (I use Shout on the nude pair so they don't stain, but we will see if they hold up in the long run compared to the black...) Setbacks that I have encountered: 1. In my opinions, these don't wick away moisture as quickly as my Thinx. 2. The nude underwear are not lined with black, which is a little unappealing to me. 3. The crotch is considerably wider compared to my Thinx, which might bother some people. The width of these are 3 1/2 inches at the narrowest part, while my Thinx are 2 1/2 and 2 3/4 inches wide. (I am not sure if the size of the crotch for these underwear changes with the size of the underwear. I purchased a large.) Hopefully this will help you make a decision if these are for you or not. Bottom line: I would purchase these again, I would just make sure to order all black.
