This surge protector is awesome. I live in southwest Florida which is the lighting capital of the U.S. so having a reliable whole house surge protector is a must. It protects everything hooked up to your electrical grid. I had my neighbor install it as he is a certified electrician that owns his own residential and commercial electrical business. He said he was extremely impressed with the device and that this is the future of surge protectors. Unlike other whole house surge protectors this device can be reused after an electrical surge. You simply change out the effected modules and move on with your day. You do not have to be an electrician to change out the effected modules, you simply pull the compromised module out and snap the new module into place. All the other types of surge protectors require you to replace the whole device which can be costly because you have to not only have to buy another whole house surge protector but then hire an electrician to install it. There are lights on the front of the surge protector that indicate if the modules are protecting your home or is in need of replacement. It could not be simpler.
