Baby boy was 6 weeks old when I first used this swaddle. He is my 3rd baby and he has been my most difficult sleeper. Up every 40 mins or so all day and all night unless I put him on his stomach (which I only did during the day for nap times) or I carried him on my chest then he was asleep all day. I spent hundreds of dollars on 2 swings, 2 rockers, & 3 chairs and he HATED them all. I was lost as to what to do because I also have a 3 year old and a 12 year old who were starting school and i needed to drive them so i needed sleep bad. To top it off he only wanted me! Sister and Dad would hold him so I could try and sleep during the day and he would be fine for about 30 mins then he would not stop crying till I held him. I finally decided I would buy swaddles and see what happened because blanket swaddling did not work for him he would SCREAM even if I left his arms up. So I came on amazon and bought the first 5 swaddles that came up. The first night using this swaddle he fought it a little. Whined but was not crying so I thought it was working. Then that night he woke up about 5 times still, thought ok gonna keep trying this since he doesnt hate it (not screaming cry, still just whinning) then last night he woke up ONCE! Woke up ate he was awake for about an hour then right back to sleep. During naps in the day time, all I have to do is feed him, change the diaper put him in the swaddle give him his pacifier and he is off to sleep by himself!! I was so happy this morning I cried! Keeping the other swaddled but havent even opened them. The material is nice and soft, stretchy and light enough for the summer.
