Much better than I had hoped
As others have stated, there were no instructions in the box but they really aren't critical to the install if you see a picture of it and have a little common sense. I did contact Winegard directly and request the instructions to see if there would be any information on how far apart the top and bottom brackets should be. There wasn't. I called Denny's (where I bought my antenna) and asked their recommendation and they said as long as the top and bottom brackets were at least 6" or more, there would be no problems. I have them about a foot apart but was still afraid of how sturdy the mount would be in a good wind. After getting everything installed, I have zero concern now. It is very, VERY sturdy. Someone in a different review stated they snapped the heads off of the screws that go into the facia. I pre-drilled mine and had zero trouble and painted it white to match the facia. I uploaded a pic of my install if you're curious what it looks like.
