It was great to have a cover for an older iPad. I love the way it fits and how accessible all the buttons etc. are now. (Old case was brutal). I'm not crazy about the two tone look- wish I could just get it in the darker wine color. However functionality was my first requirement. Can't tell about sleep mode- it's always awake when I open it. (lol). Easier to hold now that case fits snugly. Seems to be durable but I've only had it for a week. I have high hopes for this product!!
