Great battery life
Really, I just wanted a time piece. Got sick of paying for the Timex bands. But to test, I turned everything on and ran it for a week. Battery was at 40% after a week.
Sleep tracking was pretty illuminating for me. No description of how it's judging the "deep" sleep criteria so no idea if it's accurate.
Android app is functional and fairly intuitive. Note that it will tell you about your most recent sleep. It doesn't seem to track anything beyond the headline numbers for sleep and steps and such. But not what I bought it for anyway.
As a watch, once bound to the phone the time is synced. Using the feature to show the time when you turn your wrist is simple. You get the hang of it pretty quickly. But plan on a tick or two waiting for it to turn on if it hasn't been on in a bit. Seems to be biased in that I spun it watch down and couldn't get it to turn on rotating that way (like a lefty).
I really bought this one for the display. Love the spartan layout with no extra data. I never ask myself what month it is... month/year not on the display. Just big TIME, date-day spelled out.
Good thin footprint and the band seems supple enough to last a while. For the price, much better than a bulky timex that's hard to read that you'll need to buy again in two years when the band breaks.
Suggestion... Toggle to report as an HRM so you can use it with other fitness apps. You can't use it with RunKeeper or others now, only the generic app.
