Makes feral cats into loving house cats
They may not be able to say that, but I sure can. I rescued a 4 week old kitten from my backyard, who was already feral. She hid so much I barely caught glimpses of her. My 13 year old cats were a little on edge also. I had the option of this and the plug in version from Feliway. I tried this spray first. I rolled up a washcloth, and secured it with a rubber band. I sprayed the cloth and just threw it in the middle of the room. The bottle will say you need to spray it every day, but cats can smell very well and mine were still playing with this rag a week later, despite no additional sprays. Three weeks later and as I am writing this, the kitten is stretched out behind my head on the couch napping. She "asks" to be pet. The older cats are not only less stressed, but they try to play with the kitten also. It should be re-named: "Happy-Cats." It mysteriously ends up in different rooms... I understand that this spray is very good for kennels, play rugs, cat scratch posts, stuffed animals and just the wall or door. It has a very light "spa" scent to it, which my sensitive sense of smell doesn't detect except briefly as I am spraying it onto something. A bottle goes a very long way. I recommend re-spraying about 1/week. If you have a feral, try the plug-in simultaneously. If you simply have a stressed cat, this bottle should suffice. READ THE LABEL- and DO NOT spray it directly on your cat. Cats are people too. Now cat owners have more than luck on their side.
