Wow, what a difference a good tamper makes. The plastic scoop/tamper that came with our Delonghi just wasn’t cutting it. One cup using the Lux-Haus tamper proved that. The amount of creme achieved was very noticeable and it is so much easier to use. To address a few notes from older reviews. The tamper I received, did not have any engraving on the side of the tamper. This ensures the tamping is even. It does not “click” when it is done tamping but it is easy to feel when it reaches the bottom. The 51mm is the size for the Delonghi ECP3X20 Series. The tamper itself is very sturdy and well built. It does not wobble when you press down. It is a smooth tamp and a clean release, no coffee stuck to the tamper and it easily comes up and out of the coffee holder. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality tamper.
