Though I just used the Epica Spice and Coffee Grinder for the first time, I had to write about it. First off, there are very good grinders offered that cost a bit less, but the Epica offers two important features that are found only in the pricier home grinders. First off, the large stainless steel tub and blade twist off for fast and easy washing. (Try cleaning the grinder and its blade without this feature.) Also, like the more expensive grinders, the Epica's designed so the spices do not spin against the plastic cover. This feature helps keep the cover free from dulling and marring - especially noticeable when grinding hard spices like cumin seeds. The Epica's construction is solid, hefty, it feels very well made, looks good, is simple to use, and easy to clean up. If I had to make a negative comment, I'd say the power cord could be a bit longer - but, it's really no biggy. A spice grinder's task is a simple one - to grind spices - fast, evenly, thoroughly. The Epica Spice and Coffee Grinder does everything it's supposed to do, and does it extremely well. I'm glad I made the decision to purchase this product. (By the way, I rarely write reviews, but noticed this one hasn't yet very many.)
