I bought the tablet solely because it stated it could be used like a cell phone. It being bigger I wanted something that I could utilize as a cell phone to browse the web, look at news, play some tunes that was bigger than my phone but not too big. The thing actually works extremely well when I am out and about and especially when I am out in the boonies and either trying to work or am killing time between gigs. Nothing is better than having a unit this size that can sit on your legs, allow you to listen to music and read up on things and only flick a screen to answer a call all at the same time. I like my phone, don't get me wrong, but even with an upgrade in size it is too small to pull all of that off. This tablet fits nicely in my bag and while I wouldn't want to lug it around in my hands all day, it does get the job done and I have found myself utilizing it more than my cell phone. for the price you cannot go wrong.
