I was very skeptical at first. I was using coolers and ice or thermo electric coolers. Neither of which is practical. So I looked at Engel Coolers but they are very expensive usually around $1000. So I took a chance and ordered the Whynter. So far am very pleased! I drive a 2013 Freightliner Cascadia with a Thermo King Tripak APU. Also tractor has a 1800 watt inverter. So I always use 110volt cord.The cooler is very heavy so I leave it in truck but run APU to keep it powered. Also I own my tractor so I removed the front passenger seat and cabinet to create more space in tractor sleeper area. It takes up a lot of space. But if you eat out every meal this fridge freezer will pay for it self in one month in money saved on food. Plus it will make you healthy. This is a life saving device. Money well spent!
