I have an AirBNB, and the bed is a plush pillow top mattress about a year and a half old. I have a long-term guest with back problems, and the bed was too soft. After looking at different options on Amazon, I went with this product to provide extra support without adding more height. (I was afraid my sheets wouldn’t fit if the product was more than 2 inches.) My guest reports the bed is so much better that she doesn’t even move when she’s asleep. I am thinking about buying one for my own bed. *Update* I bought this same mattress topper again for a second AirBNB. The mattress was too hard, and I bought it this time to soften the bed.
