Everyone should have, will save you money if you can narrow down what your problem is
Got it when my check engine light came on: 1) If you have android, download the "Car Scanner" app on the play store and it will work flawlessly. 2) Don't use the built-in app's bluetooth but instead, once you have the scanner connected to the car and turn on the ignition, check your phone's bluetooth for a "OBD" device. 3) Connect to it using the "1234" pair code 4) Once connected, goto the app and tap on the green "Connect" button 5) Then tap on "Diagnostic Trouble Codes" 6) Tap "Read" 7) You will then select the make and model of your car along with the trim. If your specific trim is not listed, then tap on the first option which will scan for every possible sensor (will take a bit longer than selecting a trim but it only takes a few minutes) 8) Then you'll get your code, you can tap it and it will automatically google it for you (convenient!) Hope this helps with ya'll!
