Great product
I've seen a lot of whining about this product but I've had no problems at all. It's quick, efficient and does a great job. Yes, you do need two hands on the device but that's for five seconds. Here's a tip. Use your palms. They work a lot better. Then stop whining. Oh, and make sure you buy the square trade warranty. It's $5.00 for three year. If a $45 vacuum seal lasts for 3 years I'm a happy camper. Lastly, if you don't know, Seal A Meal, Tilia Food Saver, and Regal Vacuum press are all made by the same company: Jardin. So, whether you spend $45 on this or $200 on a food saver you're getting the same product.
One more thing. Don't buy the one that costs $5.00 more. Seal A Meal doesn't even sell it on their website. I think they're phasing it out. This product is perfect and will meet all of your needs if you use it correctly. Read the directions. That's key. A lot of folks that complain on here didn't take the time to read the directions.
