I bought 2 tumblers for my parents – 1) original tumbler & 2) temperature tracking tumbler. I bought the original tumbler for my dad as Father’s Day gift and the black & gold tumbler with temperature display for my mom’s birthday. What my parents like about the tumblers… The tea strainer screwed shut. So when drinking out of it, my dad doesn’t have to worry about getting teabagged first thing in the morning. It certainly holds heat. He can make tea the night before, seal it, and know it will still be warm when he grabs it the next morning. It actually holds heat too well. If he plans to drink out of it right after he heats up water, he has to leave the cap off and let it sit for a while; lest he scorches his tongue. Another plus is that no matter how piping hot his tea is, my dad can hardly feel the heat by grasping the thermos. Don’t have to worry about burning his hands. As for the tumbler with temperature display, it is easy for my mom to understand the internal temperature of the liquid by touching the LED screen. It is not necessary to pass the mouth to check the temperature and avoid burns. Both tumblers look beautiful and new when my parents opened the box. Product was in great condition and the boxes looks new. The tumblers serve their purpose for my parents who are great tea lovers. Both my parents adored the tumblers. Great for infusing loose tea leaves & teabags. I strongly recommend these 2 bamboo tumblers for their performance, the packaging and the price. Value for money purchase. What a great deal! And you will never regret buying this tumbler.
