Amazing investment!!!!
Now what I did was a little different.
I read reviews prior to buying to find out the weak parts and downsides to this greenhouse and used that to my advantage to reinforce a small $200 investment with a little reinforcement that cost around an extra $50-$80.
If you expect to get a 10X20ft greenhouse without doing a little reinforcement and thinking it will last past a season than think again. (Or you can get some of those prefab fancy 10X10's for thousands of dollars lol)
I saw so many reviews of this same one getting blown over from a small wind or the bars bending in half at the weak points.
So decided to reinforce those areas.
I can officially say that one year later and a few heavy wind storms, it is still almost brand new and I think will last another year at least. The plastic still seems to be in excellent condition!
There are many ways you can get creative to build reinforcements but my way was the simple way out by throwing some ideas together along with some scrap material.
I did use a compact driver along with metal and wood screws to get it through the metal poles (be careful not to puncture the plastic in any way!)
That was probably the toughest part.
For the middle, I really did just throw an idea together by drilling a hole at the base that was about an 1/8 of an inch less than the width of the rebar that I hammered about 3/4 of the way into the ground. This did great for heavy wind storms and to keep the support strong over time!
I hope this helps you greenhouse buying decisions or to get creative with other options or ideas you have!
Happy Gardening friends!!!!
